About Us

Tonight’s Greyhound Results is an independently run website dedicated to providing fast, accurate, and clearly explained greyhound racing results from every GBGB-licensed stadium in the United Kingdom. We cover evening, afternoon, and morning meetings across all 18 active tracks, delivering finishing positions, starting prices, forecast and tricast dividends, race comments, and related statistics as quickly as they become available.

Why This Site Exists

Greyhound racing in the UK generates over 500 races per week across a rotating schedule of fixtures. The data is out there, but it is often scattered across multiple platforms, buried behind cluttered interfaces, or presented without the context needed to understand what the numbers actually mean. We built this site to bring that information together in one place, laid out clearly and supported by the explanatory guides that both new and experienced followers of the sport find useful.

Whether you are checking a result from tonight’s card at Romford, looking up a dog’s recent form at Sheffield, or trying to make sense of trap bias statistics for the first time, the goal is the same: give you the data, explain what it means, and let you draw your own conclusions.

Our Editorial Approach

We aim to be factually rigorous and editorially honest. That means presenting data as it is, not as any particular stakeholder might prefer it to appear. Where statistics are contested, as they frequently are in discussions about greyhound welfare, we present the figures from both sides and identify the source of each claim so you can evaluate the evidence yourself.

We do not accept payment from racing promoters, bookmakers, or welfare organisations in exchange for editorial coverage. Our guides and analysis are produced independently. Where we reference third-party data, we cite the source directly and, wherever possible, link to the original publication so you can verify the figures.

Data Sources

The race results, fixture schedules, and welfare statistics published on this site are drawn from publicly available records maintained by the following organisations:

The Greyhound Board of Great Britain (GBGB), which regulates licensed greyhound racing in the UK and publishes annual injury, fatality, and retirement data. SIS (Sports Information Services), which broadcasts live racing from GBGB-licensed stadiums and manages the fixture schedule for betting operators. The Gambling Commission, which publishes industry statistics including betting turnover data for greyhound racing. The British Greyhound Racing Fund (BGRF), which reports on the voluntary levy collected from bookmakers and its allocation to welfare and integrity programmes.

Additional data and context are sourced from published parliamentary reports, accredited media outlets, peer-reviewed research where available, and official statements from industry and welfare bodies. Every statistical claim on this site is attributed to a named source.
